Lori Beecroft (Chair)

“I’ve lived in the Huntsville area for 21 years and have a financial and accounting background. I’ve had the opportunity to participate on several not-for-profit Boards and I am excited to be a part of Muskoka Seniors including a role on the Board of Directors. I think the services provided to help seniors stay in their homes and the connection that the staff can make with seniors in Muskoka is phenomenal! I wish I had been aware of a similar organization before my father passed away.  It would have been a comfort to know that I also had support and someone to check on him when I wasn’t able to. It’s my hope to be able to help and contribute toward Muskoka Seniors mission in an effort to ensure the services continue to be available for others and all are aware of the amazing opportunities for their loved ones.”

"I am a retired Elementary School Principal and my wife, and I moved permanently to the Huntsville area in 2016 after having cottaged here since 2000. My involvement with Muskoka Seniors began as a volunteer driver for the Meals On Wheels program which certainly provided me with a glimpse of the absolutely excellent services that the organization provides for seniors residing in Muskoka. I am honoured to be able to support the ongoing efforts of Muskoka Seniors as a member of its Board of Directors and I look forward to assisting in developing solutions to challenges facing our senior community."
